At Korean Studies they use Game Jams for storytelling. The students participate in a week-long Game Jam focused on transmedia storytelling in East Asia, with a special emphasis on the universe of the story “Journey to the West.”
Unlike the traditional course on transmedia storytelling, where students write theoretical assignments, the Game Jam offers students the opportunity to learn about the subject through active participation in transmedia storytelling by developing video games in teams.
