Listed are two ways in Absalon to communicate with students:
1. Posting announcements (for all students and teachers in the course)
2. Using the inbox to send a message (for all, groups of students or one
student in a course)

 

1. Posting announcements to all students

When you post an announcement a message will also be send to all by email, including all teachers. You can show the  latest announcements on the Home page by activating it in Settings -> more options. Turn on ‘Show recent announcements….’ and choose the number of recent announcements.

2. Using the inbox to send a message either to all students, groups or single students:

When you send a message from the Inbox, the message will be send by email and to the app myUCPH as a push message. You can choose to send to all students, groups, sections (hold) or individual students, thereby avoiding to send to irrelevant recipients.
